As legacy blip retrieval systems continue to age, organizations need a reliable solution for accessing indexed microfilm collections. The ScanPro® i9500 All-In-One™ is designed to capture and retrieve virtually any blipped film format, including Kodak, Canon, Minolta, 3M, AGFA, and custom formats. Supporting single-, two-, and three-level blips as well as simplex, duplex, and duo applications, the i9500 provides fast, accurate retrieval for even the most complex collections.
While many digital microfilm scanners can display blipped film images, only the ScanPro i9500 All-In-One can read image marks (blips) for indexed searching, including common and custom one-, two-, and three-level image marks. In addition to advanced blip retrieval, the i9500 supports on-demand research, records retrieval, scanning, printing, and high-speed digitization of roll film, fiche, and jacketed fiche at up to 100 images per minute.
The ScanPro i9500 All-In-One is designed for fast, accurate retrieval of indexed microfilm records. It recognizes batch, file, and page information from blipped film and helps users quickly locate the information they need. Using ABBYY® FineReader OCR technology, the i9500 can scan, search, and OCR documents while scanning. Files can be saved in a variety of common formats, organized by batch, file, and page, and managed using intuitive menus and controls. Frequently used job settings can also be saved as presets and recalled with a single click to streamline repetitive workflows.
Built on the ScanPro platform, the i9500 combines advanced blip retrieval capabilities with the powerful tools and workflows found throughout the ScanPro product family. The i9500 All-In-One includes a UC 550 or UC 650 roll film carrier for scanning 16mm and 35mm microfilm, along with an AUTO-Carrier™ for fiche and jacketed fiche conversion. Designed to improve productivity, AUTO-Carrier™ automatically advances media during scanning, allowing users to move from image to image, scan selected ranges, or capture entire fiche and jackets with minimal operator involvement.
